Gelnhausen is located close to both the old and the new geograpgical centers of germany. There is access to and from some of the major interstate highways.

From the outskirts of Frankfurt, Gelnhausen still belongs to the core zone of the Rhein-Main-Region.

45 km only and the highway A66 has got two exit leading to the city of Gelnhausen.
